When exiting the airport, take US 129 North to Knoxville and Oak Ridge. Go approximately 1.5 miles; exit US 129 onto I-140 to Oak Ridge. After going approximately 18.5 miles, I-140 will turn into TN 162, Pellissippi Parkway. TN 162 ends at the merger with Rt. 62, Oak Ridge Highway. Continue north, crossing over the Clinch River/Melton Hill Lake Bridge (Solway Bridge). Past the Solway Bridge, move to (or stay in) the right-hand lane, which becomes the middle lane with a lane merged from Edgemoor Road. The highway then splits; take the right-hand side of the split, following the sign for Bethel Valley Road. After the split, stay in what is now the left lane. After a traffic light, you will be on Bethel Valley Road. Follow Bethel Valley Road past New Bethel Baptist Church (on your right). Follow the signs to ORNL's Visitor Center (approximately 10 miles beyond the Bethel Valley/Oak Ridge split).
